Our Story

In 2002 husband and wife Lee & Carrie Johnson purchased 40 Alder Road in West Derby, Liverpool. As parents of a 6 month daughter, they struggled to find suitable childcare when returning to employment. Therefore following on from successful positions in education, they decided to convert the property into their first children’s day nursery… this is how Kids in Bloom came to be. We developed an excellent local reputation and has since expanded. Works started in October 2002 and lasted 8 months.
